Blues Power Band
BLUES POWER BAND (BPB), the Blues revelation of 2007, is the most explosive group on the French Blues Rock music scene and regulars at anthology concerts in France and abroad. Combining energy and cheek, they produced the first ever Blues Rock Opera in 2009. It was widely acclaimed on both sides of the Channel and BPB were hailed as one of the best groups of its kind. KB
KB was born in 1971 in Paris. He started playing the guitar at the age of 14, took some lessons and started playing in various Parisian combos with whom he recorded several demos. At the same time his first instrumental projects took form: "Fact & Fiction" in 1996 (from which one of the titles appeared on a compilation edited by the British magazine “Guitarist Magazine” in July of the same year) and "Result Of Dysfunction" in 1997. He was also an ESP demonstrator at the “Salon de Musique” that took place in Paris in June 1995.

Marshall Lawrence was born in 1956, north of the 54th parallel in Canada, in a cabin in the woods. Ten years later, rock n' roll was in full swing thanks to Chuck Berry, and a boy with a dream begged his father for a guitar. Marshall loved his precious Echo semi-acoustic and was determined to learn how to play it, inspired by Jimi Hendrix:
"I loved his freedom and expression. I first heard Jimi when I was ten years old on the steps leading up to my family's apartment. I was just starting to play guitar and something in his approach immediately moved and inspired me. Here was a person who could express his innermost feelings through an inanimate object. This just blew me away and I knew I had found my direction."

Tino Gonzales
Born in the Southside of the Bluestown Chicago in 1951, Tino Gonzales, grew up with the sounds of Latin, Blues, R&B, Jazz, and Soul. All have contributed to his musical foundations. Having served his apprenticeship with a wide range of blues, pop and jazz greats he eventually set off on his solo career in 1985.
But as a Mexican American with a streak of Arabic heritage, the Latin blood flows equally in his veins. His music encompasses all of these varied cultural influences resulting in a unique sound that can not easily be labeled in terms of conventional categories – but if one had to sum it up in one word it would have to be passion!
Gonzales' incredible virtuoso style is so fluid it seems as though he pours his soul right into his guitar as he floats up and down its neck, coaxing from it sounds and vibrations hitherto unknown. He changes styles more often than many musicians know how to change keys and in any direction he chooses, whether Latin, Jazz, Blues, R&B or Soul, he plays with the same passionate fire and fluidity.
